Hyundai A-League Launch
Last week, No Pool’s Ben Hasic was contracted by Fourth Wall Events to cover the Launch Event for the latest season of the Hyundai A-League.
The event was held at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium, where press and corporate sponsors gathered to hear from FFA and Hyundai about the new season.
Chief Executive of Football Federation Australia, David Gallop, lead the event where he revealed the new advertising campaign, ‘You’ve Gotta Have A Team’. Only 42% of under 15 year olds playing the game have an A-League team, and the new advertising campaign urges them to find their team and support.
The campaign centres around a young boy, Yoshi, who has yet to pick his team and has spent the past ten weeks doing activities with each team.
Yoshi is still in the process of selecting a team, and he will fly around the country over the coming weeks to watch all the clubs in action and experience the atmosphere at some of the biggest games of the season.
Through the event, No Pool’s Ben Hasic spent time capturing the formal event proceedings, as well as photography sessions with all Captains of the ten A-League clubs, as well as capturing content of the MiniRoos playing football at ANZ Stadium.
All video content was captured on the Epic-X Red Dragon with Canon 16-35mm 2.8L, and Samyang VDSLR Prime Lenses. Much of the content of the MiniRoos was captured at 100fps, which definitely helped to showcase the talent of the players.
A series of short highlights pieces were cut for use on FFA and Hyundai A-League’s social media channels.
