Talking Footy with Sarah Pope

Posted on 25 March 2016 by No Pool

This year, we’ve been contracted by Atomic 212° to produce a series of weekly sports update videos to be shared on Luxbet’s social media channels.  Each week, we produce ‘Luxbet QuickStat’, a series of short sports updates about the upcoming NRL & AFL matches of that week.

Scripts are written and approved early week with the team at Atomic and Luxbet, production on Wednesday, and final product delivery by Thursday morning for uploads to Luxbet’s Facebook page for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday releases.

Presenter, Sarah Pope, talks all the latest news and gives the audience all information for the week’s upcoming footy, with insights and team stats related to game odds for sports betting.  Her bubbly personality definitely brings these pieces to life, and she knows her football.

A pilot piece for the series was shot on Rabbitohs’ home turf at Redfern Oval for client and agency approval as a proof of concept, and it was well received.

The first update in the series was shot at ANZ Stadium, with No Pool’s Ben Hasic directing and camera operating on his Epic-X Red Dragon with Samyang VDSLR Prime Lenses.

With a quick production turnaround necessary for delivery, we jump straight into post production to provide first round edits on the day.  Having a strictly approved script definitely helps to make the turnaround possible.

Weekly catch ups with the team has been fun, and getting to shoot in great sporting locations like ANZ Stadium is absolutely a plus.  The first run of videos has been released over Easter Weekend on Luxbet’s Facebook page, check them out here.

We look forward to the ongoing development of this project with both the team at Atomic 212° and Luxbet, and hope that this weekly short-form video content will prove to be beneficial for their audiences.

Cheers,

Ben & The No Pool Team
